Very large, silvered timber clad eco house, cantilevered over a natural swimming pond, set in a beautifully landscaped 1.5 acre plot surrounded by peaceful fields.
Property comprises of two buildings which are joined together via a glass walkway that floats over water. There is also a garden cabin which overlooks the water and two outdoor dining areas, plus a wood fired hot tub and tennis court.
Large glazing throughout creates beautiful natural light all day. Triple height atrium space houses a 3-storey chimney which travels up through a skylight. Also in the atrium is a bespoke double sweeping staircase which floats within a timber clad void and looks up to another huge skylight; There are 4 woodburners (3 with chimneys), each resting on a floating concrete shelf.
The material palette is very natural, with a paired-back Californian vibe. Some of the walls have natural tonal variation and a subtle matt texture, through the use of Venetian plaster.
Located in the unique coastal location of Bosham, Chichester and designed by award-winning: architectural designer Daniel Rowland and award-winning interior designer, Nina Rowland. The home was featured on Grand Designs in 2021 and has since been lauded by many as the best property in the show's twenty-year history.
